This natural gas radiant patio heater by Sunglo works like the sun heating people and objects rather than the surrounding air. You can preserve your precious floor space by mounting this beautiful patio heater above your head making it ideal for any restaurant or home patio.  The optional automatic control system makes the heater simple to operate when mounted out of easy reach.  The usual spacing between heaters of this nature is approximately 12 feet; depending on how much wind exposure the patio has additional heaters may be preferred.  The aluminum reflector disk is large and deep and the burner unit is designed to reduce noise.

The manual ignition (model A244) heater is easily installed without any need for electrical connections.  This model is also a breeze to maintain.  It has a built in 100% safety shutoff and a pilot-thermocouple.  On this hanging patio heater the pilot must be manually lit and the operation is through a manual control knob located on the front.

The optional upgrade model A244E requires a 24 VAC electrical connection for installation.  The outdoor hanging heater has an electronic ignition and cannot be manually operated. You can elect to use either a standard electrical switch or an electrical timer for turning the patio heater off or on (not included). This unit also has a 100% safety shutoff feature.
